Who we are!: We are an independent irish republican store. We are working close together with the Irish Republican Solidarity Germany and the Antifascist Network Group Inter64 Darmstadt. Our work and our shop is strictly antifascist! Why should you buy in our store?: We know that some of our items can be found cheaper at huge commercial stores like Amazon or Ebay. But we dont even take one cent for private purposes. All the money goes directly to new irish republican projects and direct solidarity actions to support our political activists and POWs in Ireland! To keep costs low and to finance the important projects to support we ask for a couple of cents more from you to keep this support alive. Thats the reason why we are a bit more expensive than huge commercial concerns like Ebay or Amazon. With as your money will go directly to where it is urgently needed, to our activists! Der Weiße Turm ist ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt Darmstadt und ein ehemaliger Eckturm der mittelalterlichen Stadtbefestigung. Der Weiße Turm wurde als Wehrturm und Teil der Stadtbefestigung erbaut. Nachdem die Stadtmauer ihren Wert zur Verteidigung der Stadt verloren hatte, wurde der Turm im Jahre 1704 zum Glockenturm umgestaltet und erhielt weitgehend sein heutiges Aussehen. Der Turm wurde bei einem Luftangriff vom 11. September 1944 weitgehend zerstört und seit dem Jahr 1949 aus den Ruinen wieder aufgebaut. Zurzeit wird er von einem Freundeskreis betreut, welcher regelmäßige Führungen anbietet. Gleichzeitig dient er seit 1997 als Galerie.
